The Society of Petroleum Engineers would like to ask for your patronage with Twenty-Fifth Improved Oil Recovery Symposium in April 2024.  This year’s theme of conference is: “IOR: Critical Technologies of the Future.” The world will continue to need significant amounts of hydrocarbons in many years to come.  The conference will highlight the balance between evolution of new cost-effective technologies to produce hydrocarbons while minimizing the emissions of natural gas and CO₂.

For almost 50 years, the Society of Petroleum Engineers Mid-Continent Section in Tulsa, Oklahoma has hosted an international conference and exhibition on improved recovery for oil and gas reservoirs.  We have evolved with the technologies and are well-known for consistently presenting quality papers and exhibits.  We have an outstanding meeting planned for April 2024 covering the newest of upstream technology with leading industry experts, over 100 cutting-edge technical papers, large number of exhibits, 6 short courses and peer networking.

The proceeds from the symposium are used primarily by the Mid-Continent section of the SPE to provide scholarships to undergraduate engineering students.  As 501 (c)(3) organization, the money donated is tax deductible to the extent allowable by the tax code.

The details regarding the sponsorship are on the attached form. Recognition for each level will be given at every opportunity during the meeting including registration area, announcements at social events, exhibits and the beginning of technical sessions.  We will provide 8 extra tickets for lunch sessions for Platinum through Diamond Sponsors; 4 extra tickets for Gold sponsors and 2 extra tickets for Silver Sponsors.  In addition, two tickets to the invitation-only Sunday Evening Reception will be provided to all the sponsors.  Please let us know if you would like to get those tickets.
